BIRJAND, Khorasan Province 30 tons of tires have been produced by the local Kavir Tire Factory since it experimentally started operation in May, managing director of the factory Mohammad-Hossein Zeynali said here on Thursday. Zeynali said the output included 850 tires including those for lorries and pick-up trucks. He said the factory, with the capacity of producing 25,000 tons of tires annually, would address 12 percent of the country's domestic needs.
